Bridge Specialty Insurance Brokerage opens in Dallas

Bridge Specialty Insurance Brokerage (BSIB), part of Brown & Brown’s wholesale insurance platform Bridge Specialty Group, has opened an office in Dallas.

In a release, the company said: “The BSIB Dallas office features a team of highly experienced insurance professionals who are deeply familiar with the South Central and Midwest markets, providing solutions that address the specific needs of the region. With that, the team leverages the size and market clout of BSIB and has access to major markets around the globe through its network of more than 200 insurance carriers.”

Tapped to lead the new office is Jim Bishop of Bridge Specialty Group’s Hull & Company Texas. He brings more than three decades of Texas market experience to the post.

“It’s exciting to expand BSIB’s footprint into the Texas region,” BSIB regional leader John Vedder commented. “With Jim Bishop’s leadership, we are excited about the future success of the BSIB Dallas office and the value it will bring to our customers and partners.”

Meanwhile Bridge Specialty Group president Stephen M. Boyd had this to say: “The collaboration of the BSIB Dallas team and existing Bridge offices in the region brings with it the depth and specialized capabilities from a national and local perspective, bringing a broader set of solutions to our existing Bridge Specialty Group customers in the Central region.”
